The External Stakeholders Meeting of the Institute of Health Sciences was held on December 25, 2024, at 14:00 in the Institute’s Meeting Room, under the chairmanship of the Director of the Institute, Dr. Müge SEVAL. The meeting was attended by Deputy Director of the Institute Gaye Sağlam; Deputy Provincial Director of Family and Social Services, Ali Osman Yılmaz; Director of Nursing Services at Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University Hospital, Vildan KALKAN; Hospital Director of Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University Oral and Dental Health Application and Research Center, Emine Fidan; Director of Health Care Services at Uzun Mehmet Chest Diseases Hospital, Gonca Arslan; Alumni Representative Musa Özsavran; and Pharmacist Mehmet Kıvanç Erdem—making a total of six external stakeholders. The Secretary of the Institute, Ercan Eryılmaz, was also present.

The meeting began with a speech by Dr. Müge SEVAL, emphasizing the importance of cooperation and mutual communication with external stakeholders. The results of the Fall 2024 External Stakeholders Survey were presented to the participants. Attendees shared their opinions on increasing the number of meetings held with external stakeholders and on enhancing joint research, projects, in-service training, and postgraduate education activities. They also exchanged ideas on collaborating with university units to provide services such as oral and dental screening, health education, and family strengthening programs to beneficiaries in the fields served by the external stakeholders.
