The doctoral program, which was opened with the decision of the Executive Board of Higher Education on 26.08.2020, provides doctoral education in the Department of Histology and Embryology of our Institute. When the program is successfully completed and the program qualifications are met, a PhD degree is obtained in the field of Histology and Embryology.
The PhD degree is eight semesters for those admitted with a master's degree with thesis, including courses and thesis work, and the maximum completion period is twelve semesters; for those admitted with a bachelor's degree, it is ten semesters and the maximum completion period is fourteen semesters. The first two years include taking courses related to the field of specialization and preparation for thesis study. In addition to the compulsory courses in the education plan, there are elective courses offered according to the student's preference in accordance with the field of specialization.
