Our master's program, which was opened with the decision of the Board of the Executive Board of YÖK dated 02.05.2017, provides Master's degree education with thesis in the Department of Internal Diseases of the Institute of Health Sciences. When the program is successfully completed and the program qualifications are met, a Master's degree in Podology in the Department of Internal Medicine is obtained.
The aim of the program; Knowing the basic anatomy and physiology of foot health, guiding the principles of foot self-care and foot health promotion, defining the functions and characteristics of healthy skin and musculoskeletal system, recognizing skin and nail problems, knowing the pathophysiology, symptoms and signs of foot-related deformities and conditions that cause foot-related problems such as diabetes mellitus, arthritis, cardiac and peripheral vascular diseases and kidney diseases, To train individuals who have clinical practice skills in the execution of appropriate podological treatments, who can evaluate different situations using various multifunctional measurements, who can plan podological care for patients of different ages, who can apply basic skills and methods in evaluation and treatment, and who will develop skills in clinical applications in podology with applied courses.
