In accordance with Articles 4 and 7 of the Regulation on the Organization and Operation of Graduate Schools of Education and Training, our doctoral program, which was opened with the decision of the Executive Board of Higher Education dated 06.02.2020, provides Anatomy Doctorate education in the Department of Anatomy in the Institute of Health Sciences. When the program is successfully completed and the program qualifications are met, a PhD degree in Anatomy is obtained in the Department of Anatomy.
The aim of the anatomy PhD program is to train academicians who can conduct independent and original research focused on improving anatomy science and education, present deep and broad knowledge from the data obtained and present it for the benefit of science and humanity at national and global level, reach a new synthesis by examining the theoretical foundations of anatomy, perform evidence-based practices in the field of study, test the effectiveness of different educational models in student education and develop new educational models, are sensitive to ethical issues and are pioneers in their fields of practice. It is aimed to train anatomy doctors and academicians specialized in the fields of Anatomy with the specified characteristics with the Anatomy Doctorate Program to be opened in line with this purpose of clinical anatomy education and research to be conducted within the scope of the doctorate program.
