Social Transcript Application

Social Transcript Application

In order for the gains obtained by students enrolled at Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University through participation in social, cultural, and career development activities organized inside or outside the university during their education to be reflected on their transcripts, the student must apply via the Student Information System (OBS). Applying and obtaining the Social Transcript Document is optional and based on the student's request. The application is made by filling out the form that defines the activity on OBS and uploading the relevant supporting document to the system.

To apply for a social activity, the student must be registered for courses in the relevant semester, and the application must be submitted by the final date of the make-up exams. Applications for activities that take place during the summer term must be submitted in the following fall semester.

The accuracy of all documents related to the application is the sole responsibility of the student. In applications made through OBS, the student is considered to have declared the accuracy of the submitted documents and evidence and to have accepted full responsibility. The Social Transcript Evaluation Committee examines the documents to verify their authenticity. Disciplinary action will be taken by the relevant unit against students who submit false statements and/or forged or altered documents.

In the case of activities in the form of a symposium, seminar, or workshop, the participating student must submit a signed certificate of participation or a signed attendance list of the program. Documents such as certificates, letters of participation, or letters of appreciation must include: the date of issue, the student’s name and surname, the name of the issuing institution, the signature (wet or digital/electronic) of the approver, and if available, a verification code and/or a QR code for verification.

Students who actively participate in any kind of education, project, event, competition, activity, or social responsibility project related to culture, arts, and sports must submit supporting documents such as signed attendance sheets, participant lists, certificates of participation or appreciation, certificates, photos or videos taken during the activity that prove their participation, or other proof that the activity took place.

Students who are members of communities or sports teams affiliated with the Department of Health, Culture, and Sports and who participate in an event/competition or take an active role in the event must obtain supporting documents from the community academic advisors or team coaches, signed either with a wet signature or a digital/electronic signature.
