Our doctoral program, which was opened with the decision of the Executive Board of Higher Education dated 20.01.2016, provides doctoral education in the Department of Nursing at the Institute of Health Sciences.  When the program is successfully completed and the program qualifications are provided, a doctorate degree in the field of Surgical Nursing is obtained.

The aim of the program is; In the field of Surgical Diseases Nursing; to train scientists at the level of expertise who have internalized the philosophy of science, who have the competence to work in the relevant field of science, who are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills, who know how to access information, who pay attention to ethical and deontological rules in their studies, who have reached the level of programming and conducting a scientific study, who can present and publish their studies orally and in writing, who can help in the implementation of the course and practice curriculum in the field of surgical diseases nursing, and to provide them with experience to start a doctoral program.
