Our master's program, which was opened with the decision of the General Assembly of Higher Education Council dated 15.08.2013, provides Master's Degree with Thesis in the Department of Nursing in the Institute of Health Sciences. When the program is successfully completed and the program qualifications are provided, a Master's degree is obtained in the field of Surgical Nursing.

The aim of the program; Nursing is in the field of surgical diseases nursing science, which has important responsibilities in the promotion, protection, prevention and rehabilitation of diseases, which has important responsibilities in the promotion, protection, prevention and rehabilitation of the health of individuals, families and groups in all segments of the society, which is not limited to bedside patient care, whose role and application areas are expanding within the health disciplines; To train scientists who have internalized the philosophy of science, who have the competence to work in the relevant field of science, who are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills, who know how to access information, who pay attention to ethical and deontological rules in their studies, who have reached the level of programming and conducting a scientific study, who can present and publish their studies orally and in writing, who can help in the implementation of the course and practice curriculum in the field of surgical diseases nursing.
